Volt (Was) was a pop culture magazine issued in the 90s. Between June 1992 and January 1995 in total 16 issues appeared. The magazine ceased in 1995, but the rock music festival VOLT started by this magazine is still one of the most popular festivals in Hungary. Several Volt magazine staff members, including the founder and editor-in-chief Tamás Ligeti Nagy, continued in another pop culture magazine Wan2.
